 Our goal

The goal of this construction project is to make our community better by improving our service and reliability. Start and completion dates are subject to change and do not include final restoration of the project area. Periodically we will provide updates to this page regarding the project's progress. We thank you for your patience.

Water main extension project to support future growth in the area

Construction is underway to extend approximately 4,200 feet of a 24-inch diameter water main along Poinciana Blvd. between Pam Road and US 192 (please see map). This project completes a hydraulic loop between the Eastern Water System and the Poinciana distribution systems. This will support growth both in Poinciana and along Poinciana Blvd., including the Poinciana SunRail station area.

Short periods of lane closures may occur during construction. If they do occur, they will be between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during weekdays. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
