Lifted: The Oaks precautionary boil water advisory

4.18.24 - This advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.

4.16.24 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) has experienced a water main break impacting customers at the following locations:

  • Customers located off The Oaks Blvd. and Boating Blvd.
  • Pleasant Hill Commons Shopping Mall
  • Shopping area between S Hoagland Blvd. and Temple Dr. off S John Young Pkwy. 
  • Customers located between Pleasant Hill Rd. and Harris Blvd. off S John Young Pkwy.

Service is expected to be restored by 10 p.m. Schedules may change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Once service is restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until lifted by Toho. As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). As an alternative bottled water may be used. For food industry guidelines, please refer to the documents section on this page.
