Hickory Tree Road area water line installation project

Toho is announcing a water line installation project along Hickory Tree Road between Nolte Road and US 192 (please see map below).

The project is scheduled to get underway in early September and is expected to be completed by January 2026 along with area restoration. Work will take place Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Work will commence just south of Twin Lakes Boulevard and progress towards US 192. The project has been designed to minimize area impacts. The new pipe will be pulled through underground at excavated entry/exit points. This will reduce having to dig all along the area. Most of the work will occur in the right of way.

No road closures expected

No road closures are expected in the area. Flaggers will be place to direct traffic if necessary. Access to homes and driveways will be maintained throughout the project.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching this area, as workers and construction equipment will be present. Speed limits may be reduced and sidewalks possibly diverted. Signage will be in place to keep the traveling public informed of the project
