02.04.26 - The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption. Water filters do not need to be cleaned or replaced.
###
01.29.26 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) customers located at 1614 Orange Street and 1203 N. Palm Avenue will experience a disruption of their water service starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, February 2.
This interruption of service is necessary to connect a new water line in the area. Service is expected to be restored by 12 noon. Schedules could change due to weather and uncertain circumstances.
Once service is restored a precautionary boil water advisory will go into effect until rescinded by Toho.
As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled.
Once service is restored, a two-day minimum of regulatory testing is required to make sure the water meets drinking water standards. An update will be provided by Wednesday, February 4.
