Pine Lake Estates water line project

Toho Water Authority and Sanpik recently installed a new water line in the Pine Lake Estates community on Pine Lake Drive, Sequoia Circle, and 17th Street (Phase 1). Starting, Monday, February 10, residents will be connected to this new water line. Toho and Sanpik will then begin to install new water lines on Avocado Street, Hemlock Street, Ponderosa Drive, and Chestnut Street as part of the final phase of this project (Phase 2). The project will improve water service reliability for customers in the area. 

Connection to the new water line will involve digging in the area of the meter box and right of way. Customers can expect a 30-minute interruption to their water service when the connection to their meter is conducted. Residents will be notified in advance of the service disruption.

Work will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, we ask residents to avoid parking vehicles on the street to allow work to be conducted.

Phase 1 is expected to be completed by March 1, 2025, and Phase 2 is expected to be completed by May 21, 2025. As each phase is completed, road, sidewalk and sod restoration will occur for impacted areas. Schedules may change due weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching work areas, as workers will be present and roads/sidewalks may be closed and possibly diverted. Signage will be placed as needed to keep the traveling public informed of the project.
