Lifted: Simpson Rd area precautionary boil water advisory

8.11.24 - The precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.

###

8.6.24 - Toho Water Authority (Toho) is announcing that the following locations will experience a disruption of their water service starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday, August 8:

  • Remington Apartments (Simpson Rd)
  • Public Storage (227 Simpson Rd)
  • Simpson Ridge Apartments (Simpson Ridge Circle)

This interruption of service is necessary to transfer the water service to a new water line. Service is expected to be restored by 3 a.m.

Once service is restored a precautionary boil water advisory will go into effect until rescinded by Toho.

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled.
