West Vine Street closures starting May 20

Toho Water Authority is announcing the following West Vine Street closures starting on May 20 for a sewer project (please see map below):

West Vine Street westbound lane closure between John Young Parkway and North Central Avenue
West Vine Street eastbound lane closure between Orlando Avenue and North Central Avenue
North Central Avenue from West Vine Street to West Cypress Street

The project is expected to be completed in about a month. Please be advised that construction schedules may change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Access will be provided for local traffic and emergency services. The project is designed to upgrade the sewer facilities in the area.

Map shows a westbound lane closure on West Vine Street between John Young Parkway and North Central Avenue and an eastbound lane closure between Orlando Avenue and North Central Avenue. North Central Avenue from West Vine Street to West Cypress Street will be closed as well.

More project details

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching this area, as workers and construction equipment will be present. Speed limits may be reduced, sidewalks possibly closed, and foot traffic diverted. Signage will be in place to keep the traveling public informed of the project.
