Lifted: Poinciana Village 7 area precautionary boil water advisory

10.3.24 - The advisory has been lifted. Customers are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.

###

10.1.24 – Toho Water Authority (Toho) is issuing a precautionary boil water advisory for customers located in the Lake Marion Creek Drive, Pine Street, Hemlock Avenue and Marigold Avenue area (please see map below).

This is due to a power outage at the area’s water treatment facility. The precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until lifted by Toho.

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes). As an alternative bottled water may be used. Water used for laundry or bathing/showering does not need to be boiled. Guidelines for the food industry are attached.

An update will be provided on October 3.

For more information, contact Toho’s customer service center at 407-944-5000 or email customerservice@tohowater.com. Updates are also posted to our News & Alerts page on tohowater.com.
