
The Board of Supervisors of Toho Water Authority (Toho), an independent special district, plans to hold a meeting at 5 p.m. on September 17, 2025, in the Board Room of Toho’s Administrative Building located at 951 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Kissimmee, Florida 34741.
The purpose of this meeting will be to hold the public hearing for the adoption of rates, fees, and charges of Toho. Following that public hearing, the Board of Supervisors of Toho expects to take action adopting a schedule of rates, fees and charges and all matters related thereto.
As proposed, rates for water, wastewater, and irrigation will adjust 7.5% effective October 1, 2025, and will adjust annually effective every October 1 by 7.5% through fiscal year 2028. For fiscal years 2029 through 2030, rates will adjust by 4% annually. Reclaim rates are currently set at 75% of potable irrigation rates and will adjust incrementally on an annual basis to 90% in October 1, 2027.
Our service area is growing rapidly, and with it, the demand on our water, wastewater and reclaimed water systems. We must prepare for the future while protecting today’s customers. This investment benefits customers and the community overall.
These funds support crucial infrastructure projects that will benefit both current and future customers by enhancing reliability, safety, and service efficiency.
